We repair most faults within 2-3 days, we also offer a priority service (subject to availability of parts if needed). If we need to order parts then we can normally get these next day delivery. We realise how difficult being without your computer can be and we will always try to get it back to you as quickly as possible.

We will always offer you a fixed price for the repair, for example if your laptop screen needs replacing we will give you a total price for the work before starting. In the event we need to diagnose the fault first we charge $89 labour which is waived if you go ahead with the repair. We don’t want you to have any nasty surprises; we want you to know exactly what your repair will cost before we complete the work.

We turnaround repairs quickly, we don’t send anything away to service centres and we don’t quote 5+ days for repairs. Remote access is the ability to access a computer or a network remotely through the internet. Remote access enables users to access the systems they need when they are not physically being present. Never allow remote access to your Device unless you know the person or Company performing remote access. Compute Your World uses Team Viewer to perform remote access to some clients which is a program downloaded off the internet. Makes and model numbers can be located on the rear/bottom of most devices. Sometimes manufactures also place the mode number under the battery of the device if the device has a removable battery.

Sometimes, if there is serious damage to your computer, it is a better investment to buy a new one than to pay for a repair. If we find that’s the case, you can utilise the technician’s time to back up your data and then have the technician come back to transfer it to a new computer and help you set it up instead.

Of course! For your convenience, we have all common parts available so that they can fix most problems on the spot. If the required part isn’t immediately available, we will organise it for you as soon as possible and make a return follow-up visit as part of the same service.

Sometimes, like in the instance of extensive data recovery, our computer repair services cannot be completed onsite. In this event, your Technician will give you a fixed quote for the offsite repair of your computer as well as let you know when it will be returned. You will also be kept up-to-date at all times on the progress of your repairs while it is offsite.
